Requirements
Job Title: Part-Time Security Officer (Active Police, Sheriffs, and Constables)
Location: Within Your Jurisdiction (as permitted by law)
Job Description: Advanced Sentry LLC is seeking active law enforcement professionals, including police officers, sheriffs, and constables, to join our team as part-time security officers. Officers will operate within their jurisdictions, in compliance with applicable laws, while providing professional security services.
Requirements:
Active Law Enforcement Status:
Must be an actively serving police officer, sheriff, or constable with a valid Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification.
Must have agency approval for secondary employment, if required.
Licensing and Compliance:
Must adhere to all state and local laws governing secondary employment for law enforcement officers.
Maintain compliance with policies from both your law enforcement agency and Advanced Sentry LLC.
Uniform and Equipment:
Officers will wear their agency-approved uniform and utilize government-issued equipment as authorized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide professional security services within your jurisdiction.
Monitor premises, respond to incidents, and ensure the safety of people and property.
Represent Advanced Sentry with professionalism and integrity while maintaining law enforcement standards.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Texas Penal Code, security protocols, and jurisdictional policies.
Excellent situational awareness, communication, and de-escalation skills.
Physically capable of performing required duties, including patrolling and responding to emergencies.
Background and Conduct:
Must have a clean record with no criminal convictions or active investigations.
Uphold a high standard of conduct on and off duty.
Additional Information:
Shifts: Flexible part-time schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: Competitive rates based on experience and qualifications.
Location: Officers will work strictly within their jurisdiction, as allowed by law.
